Debatable. I'd rather never be married in the first place than marry someone who is going to divorce me.
Marriage is not necessarily an indication of sexual activity.

I think society, and science, is catching on that WMYNZ cause 80 percent of divorces.

So, when a man is asked publically, or at his job, or at his club, his marital status, it's no longer assumed he's a failure for being divorced.

The whole SINGLE MOM bullshit has grown stale, if not downright rotten.

At the same time, it still sounds better in society's eyes to have "been" married, for the social proofs angle.
