I don't think he understands what buddhism is about
Exactly, Buddhism is all about detaching yourself from material things and chasing enlightenment, wisdom, spirituality instead.
Buddha himself was the son of a King, so Buddha was a prince. He grew up in luxury (lived in a palace, had sERvants around the house to do tasks for him, soldiERs appointed by his fathER to guard the palace gates, Buddha himself was fucking a litERal harem of Stacies evERy night since the age of 12!).
But Buddha’s fathER forbid Buddha from evER leaving the palace gates, telling Buddha that the air outside was poison and Buddha would die if he evER went outside the palace gates.
But buddha was curious, he felt confined and felt like he was a prisonER. Despite his matERial wealth, buddha was unsatisfied because he realised that the ultimate goal in life ISN’T to achieve wealth or influence, the
ultimate goal is to achieve FREEDOM.
No matter how much matERial resources you have, you can nevER enjoy them propERly if you don’t have freedom.
So for the sake of freedom, Buddha decided to venture outside the palace gates and
put his LIFE AT RISK, just to see the world outside the confines of his palace walls for 1 minute (before the poisonous air kills him).
Buddha ventured outside the palace gates and he realised that he could breathe the air completely fine without dying, the air wasn’t poisonous like his fathER said,
At that moment, he realised everything his fathER told him was a LIE!
Until this moment, Buddha had lived a life of ONLY hedonism. In his whole life he nevER expERienced pain/suffERing, he didn’t know that pain/suffERing even existed.
All his life, Buddha had lived a life of decadence and opulence, but when he saw the pain/suffERing in the kingdom outside his palace walls, he came to see the true face of reality.
He saw people starving to death, he saw people dying from disease, he saw people being harmed by crime etc. and that’s when he first learnt about the mortality of humans.
He used to think that humans could live forevER, but seeing those corpses awakened him to the “temporary nature” of life.
He saw that the pain/suffERing existed due to economic inequality, the pursuit of matERial wealth created a world of Hierarchies were thERe were winnERs and losERs. He saw pursuit of matERial things as the root of all evil in society.
He then decided to detach himself from matERial wealth. He left the palace and lived in the forest to meditate. He took few simple robes with him, He barely ate food or drank watER, and when he did he would get his food/watER from the forest itself.
Even the animals nevER harmed him, and would in fact protect him because they saw him as one of their own.
Buddha himself abandoned matERialism and embraced a life of spirituality, yet this low iq chink is asking Buddha for matERial wealth which is THE EXACT OPPOSITE to Buddha’s teachings.
