I miss cheat codes

modern games suck ass, because they have no cheat codes.
it's all about faggots loving the "challenge" making games feel like a job.

games used to be fun.
like 7 kingdoms, I would activate a cheat for money, and then dev lots of exploding porcupines
and blow up an entire kingdom like nothing.

or MK4 where I could play as goro the boss.

now its unplayable bosses, and hours of grind, because of online standards.

I miss the olden days of Age of Empires where I could just Ctrl+V the cheat code: Photon Man and lay waste to entire civilizations in mere minutes with my lovely little Nuke Troopers.

Old gta games like SA had pretty cool and wacky cheats. Modern gta's have less crazy stuff and cheats compared to SA. I just finished Saints row 3 remastered and this game doesn't care about being serious. It's just about blowing stuff up and being as goofy as it can. It's doesn't try to be very 'realistic'.

I don't really miss cheat codes themselves but I like the option of them and the flair that it added to games, nowadays games are just one dimensional slop

I don't miss cheatcodes, but rather I miss the time when knowledge about games wasn't so abundant and obtainable at a fingers' snap. Also don't really like the idea of difficulty settings, for some reason.
