The one benefit to severe acne scars is that it looks like my face hold no fat. Gives me the illusion of really high cheekbones and makes it seem as if my BF% is a lot lower than it is. Anyways, I have my first acne scar procedure tomorrow, kinda scared boyos. Subcision.

Cope, what are you even talking about?

Thats not how acne scars work

Good luck. Fat or tissue?

You guys don't understand my acne was so bad that I lost fat around my face as a result, thus making it seem like I have good facial structure.

thanks
Acne scars don't do that.

Too clarify, the fat loss isn't a scar. It's a result of my face swelling up so much because of the acne and then when the inflammation dissipated, I was left with areas of fat loss around my face.

This is what sculptra is used for in treating patients with scars.

thanks, fat or tissue?

I have scars on the temples as well and the scar tissue is basically lower and tighter than the skin around. My explanation was that this was due to the original skin being scratched away. So this is more of an incomplete healing / tissue recovery thing than fatloss. But it seems different for you. Maybe some effect akin heat therapy due to the inflation or sth. IDK.

Yeah I'm not entirely sure but multiple people have told me it's fat loss so I think it's different than your condition.

Temple scars are hard to get rid of, lots of important arteries and nerves in that region so it's kind of risky to operate there.
