You can get there by plane, boat, bus or car depending on where you live. It used to be the hub of the world not long ago. Not exactly rocket science to get there from pretty much anywhere in the world.

First thing is to find out at UK embassy website if you would need a visa to travel to the UK.
Then buy plane/bus/train ticket to London, which can be done online also.
Then show up at the airport/train station/bus station and actually travel there.

Not hard. Most of it can be done online in many cases and then show up at a station and get on a vehicle.
