From just the revealed ability, it seems it could be roughly on Doll Devil's level, the transformations being harder to do but it honestly being more useful to create perfect clones instead of mostly mindless dolls. Some people have already speculated that its power could've come from CSM verse having the same HIV/AIDS scare as our world did in the 80s and 90s, and considering that CSM takes place in the 90s... yeah.

Honestly, Part 2 was just a massive disappointment. It was going well all until the Chainsaw Man Church arc, and then continuously just got worse from there. That arc alone was so retarded that there was zero way to actually recover the plot after it. I haven't even read much, but I've been taking occasional glimpses every now and then at the most recent chapters. It's such a shame because I really love Chainsaw Man and a lot of the characters, especially from Part 2.

But on top of the plot being retarded, the art just seems to be getting worse and worse. It feels nothing like Part 1 anymore.

Honestly, Part 2 was just a massive disappointment. It was going well all until the Chainsaw Man Church arc, and then continuously just got worse from there. That arc alone was so retarded that there was zero way to actually recover the plot after it. I haven't even read much, but I've been taking occasional glimpses every now and then at the most recent chapters. It's such a shame because I really love Chainsaw Man and a lot of the characters, especially from Part 2.

I'm happy that I started actively following and reading it only after the reveal of Nayuta's death, at the beginning of the Aging Devil Arc. Feels like I dodged all the slow, mid-series stuff everyone seems to hate, and the plot's currently really engaging as its wrapping up and makes you want to see how it ends.
