No human would tolerate what we do to nature every day. Imagine:
- Your land is taken from you bit by bit, your houses destroyed
- Your children are killed in front of you
- Your people are hunted and slaughtered en masse for being "exotic" or for their perceived value
- Your people are regularly eaten
- Sometimes, you're kept in a cage your whole life, never seeing the outside world
- Sometimes, you serve as entertainment
- Sometimes, you're forced to do tricks to appease your masters
- Sometimes, you have a leash around your neck and are forced around, serving your master's every whim and having your right to movement taken from you
- Sometimes, you're kept in a place with tall fences all around, in filthy, inhumane conditions where you have to watch your fellow people die of disease, or be stuck in cages so tight you can hardly breathe; you're pumped with chemicals and expected to grow big so that you can be served better on a dish
- In here, sometimes, you're forced to eat the remains of your own people unknowingly
- Sometimes, your master beats you for no reason
- Sometimes, you're abused by strangers for no reason other than for them to obtain gratification from your suffering
- Sometimes, you're left alone and die because your habitat was destroyed and now you're in a strange place without shelter or food, or your lineage was bastardized beyond recognition so much so that now they are no longer adapted to the environment they originally evolved in
A great movie to watch is
The Plague Dogs. It's about human experimentation on animals and the cruelty of humans.
Did an animal ever call me "loser," "weirdo," or "ugly"? Did an animal ever hurt me physically? Did an animal ever tell me to kill myself?
Humans should have never evolved. Nature should have extinguished it like a mother smothering her newborn baby. The ice age should have killed us.
The West made the machines and factories that are slowly killing us and nature like a weird macro murder–suicide.
