With the exception of philosophy, in which is the only study in humanities that still tries to answer fundamental questions about reality and anything else of this world. Other stuff like theology, history, etc. Not so much.

They are easily corruptable studies depending on what's the current regime. Their subjects and lessons could easily be edited to fit with the propaganda machine. They haven't helped with human development at all, in fact helped with withholding actual progress because of couple boomerfags can't let go of outdated ideas.

To be fair, the "proper" studies are corruptible as well if you apply the scientific method of thinking. Just collect enough data over time, manipulate it and you can prove anything while staying completely within the conventional scientific discourse.
