I never forget bad experiences,even when i have friends and i was laughing with them the shameful moments pop in my mind and ruin the day.
Now i dont leave my house and they alway hunt me.

I hate when shameful memories pop up in my mind. The way I cope is by trying to accept the guilt, the self depreciation. I'm telling myself : "ok, I did that. That was not great. Can I move on, now?". Something like that.

The shame eventually fades but it takes a looonng time.

Then top that one after it wears off.

Shame is/was a social cohesion tool. But without social cohesion it's only useful as a weapon.

Therefore, don't let it get to you or strive to become impeccable!

Or. You can pretend you already are impeccable (such as the purity of virginity) as a way of coping with whatever embarrassing shame thing you are enduring.
