this is a big one i agree with. People here like to complain about the age of consent and what’s appropriate but 99% of them wouldn’t let their 16 yo daughter date a 50 yo man. Some of the copes I’ve read on this forum for why after “the revolution” or whatever, people would be OK with old guys dating and marrying their young daughters were absolutely hilarious. “Well, her father would know how hard it was to make himself a self-made man, so would sympathize with him,” yeah, sure boyo, keep on dreaming.
