I don't understand. This combat is floaty garbage. It takes forever to kill anything and it's unsatisfying when you do. How is this one of the top MMO's? Am I missing something?

I like Guild Wars 1 better, i didn't like the floaty combat either in 2 - There's no physics in the combat system, you can walk right into a monsters model/avatar and nothing happens.

I bought Guild Wars 2 full price when it came out at retail I played it about 8 hours which is low for a MMO. - then they made it free a year later.

I stopped playing online games seriously a few years ago ... the sad truth is that they all get patched to trash.
Never seen a game that got genuinely better over time.
It took me a while to understand this but patches aren't even meant to make the games better.
The only purpose of patches is to change the game to keep people addicted.
Gameplay is just second place (best case) behind corporate greed.

Last online game I played was Path Of Exile, but I quit because the servers were too shite for hardcore.
What are you guys playing right now? I want to change my opinion ... I miss online gaming.

Dungeon Fighter Online is my favorite MMO. It actually improves over time, devs listen to the english players, and its only 4-6 months behind Korea. Gets a major update on the 17th.
