Pretty much, one reason I'm neither Buddhist or Christian, although I remain sympathetic to some Buddhist beliefs. One of my favorite Buddhist concepts is impermanence, it is a pretty solid Buddhist concept along with their meditative belief of ascertaining enlightenment.

But in a cruel world like the one we live in you need a religion with bite because passivity or pacifism just doesn't quite cut it.

Well the Christians might argue our incel rhetoric by saying we live in a world fallen to sin by Adam and Eve’s disobedience to god in the garden of Eden which is why things here are so fucked up and imbalanced and imperfect with masses of people suffering while other masses of people ie Chad, Stacy and the rich receiving almost nothing but pleasure.

Jesus also called our fallen world “Satan’s kingdom” so Christians could also tack that point on to why things aren’t always so sweet here for us.

As for the Christian god’s plan for us?

Its simply three things really:

1. We choose to believe in Jesus Christ as having come to earth in the flesh as both human and the divine God to live a sinless life and then die on the cross carrying our sinful human nature all the while on his person so that sin and death are conquered by him forever more.

2. Ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins and fulfill his promise to redeem our souls and make us righteous before God again and have our relationship with the father fully repaired.

3. “Love one another as I have loved you” which if memory serves was perhaps Jesus’s last request or command to his apostles possibly before he ascended into Heaven. This bit of dialogue probably applies also to the entire “Body of Christ“ which is to say all believers in Christ typically known as or called Christians.

So the “big plan” may simply be for us to simply do the best we can in this oftentimes difficult life whilst doing our very best imperfect as our attempts may be to perform the above and if Christianity ends up being true after all we get to spend eternity with Jesus in Paradise/Heaven and have our own mansion while never having to feel worried, sad or sick again much less ever have to be fucked up incels again as I believe somewhere in the Bible it says you get a completely new and awesome body in Heaven at some point so that’s cool if true.

My biggest problem with Christianity [Of which I have many] is their pacifism turn the other cheek mentality and when it concerns most things in life they're so focus on death or heaven to do anything at all in this life. "We shouldn't concern ourselves with this world full of evil or sin, only our place in heaven after death matters." It's almost like a form of spiritual or religious nihilism.

There's some interesting forms of Buddhism like the Tibetan or Japanese varieties but beyond that it seems pretty cucked.
