If we are following the scriptures out of the Bible, men are spiritually equal to that of women - and there is no "worship" of course to that of either gender, nor giving women the unique roles to that of men.
Although in Modern "Christianity" and the woke progressiveness they are seen to be put on a pedestal and have authority to that of men and even more. Even now in some churches there are female pastors which is just ridiculous.
Some verses on the matter:
1 Timothy 2:12:
"I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet"
1 Corinthians 14:34-35:
"The women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church."
Ephesians 5:22:
"Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord."
Titus 2:5:
"submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled."
Modern day "Christians" will see these verses and dismiss them as they don't "appeal to the modern agenda" - and pastors/priests have fallen for the devils trap and put women on a pedestal, showing no punishment for their wrongdoings.
Biblical Position
My position is not that men are more valuable than women. Scripture teaches that men and women are equally created in the image of God and equally in need of salvation through Christ (Galatians 3:28).
However, equality of worth does not mean sameness of roles. God assigns different responsibilities to different people. Just as parents and children have different roles, men and women are also given different responsibilities. For men this is providing and protecting, whilst for women this is nurturing and caring.
When these women are treated of more value it is a rejection of the biblical order established by God. And you never see it the other way around either... it's a result of modern day feminism creeping into churches and corrupting the doctrine.
At the same time, Christians are commanded to judge actions according to God's standards while remembering that ultimate judgment belongs to God. But having said that of course we can still identify sin, error, and wrongdoings.
Judgement:
The Lord says that we can judge peoples actions, but let them not be judged as a whole. Meaning not basing their action they did onto their entire self.
For example:
If a women commits adultery more often than men - then we take precautions around certain areas and logically make generalisations. And we can of course judge them off their actions but not for them as a person if that makes sense.
↓
“Judging” actions is part of moral discernment. But reducing someone to their worst behaviour, crosses into a kind of judgment that’s reserved for God on the Day of Judgement.
TLDR;
Men and women are equal in value before God, but equality does not mean identical roles or responsibilities. Scripture assigns different roles to men and women in the family and church.
Christians should judge actions according to God's standards. Judging behaviour is different from condemning a person's entire character or eternal destiny.
Modern cultural influences, such as feminism, are affecting most churches interpretation of scripture and leading believers astray with a false doctrine.
