One of the problems I encounter when I play certain video games is when they contain far too many visual elements, I quickly feel overwhelmed and this obstructs my ability to process information. This manifests itself as a difficulty in progressing at a constant speed through the game, and I linger on details far too long. Looking it up on the internet, this relates to a slow processing speed which is a common characteristic of those with autism.
