I'd say it's about even-ish. But in many cases I think they can actually be higher due to higher motivation/ getting more attention and thus more opportunities to have a life and enjoy the fun of existence.
The trope that they just drink and party all the time is not really always the case. Good looking people have lives but not always degeneracy. That's what try hards for attention do who try to NTmaxx to get through the loops of rejection.

But I took the question to be more in the spirit of, "are attractive people naturally more intelligent?" In which case my answer is a definite "no, they're way dumber than ugly people."

It's like asking, "are men with higher testosterone more athletic than men with lower testosterone" and then having the low-T men lift weights for decades while the high-T men are inactive and then seeing who can lift heavier weights to determine who's more athletic; it's misleading.

IQ is genetic but IQ is not the same as intelligence. IQ is just a measure of something that many people associate with or outright call "intelligence".

And every so-called "intelligent" Chad that I've come across has struck me as not actually being what I consider to be intelligent, but rather having several characteristics that people [wrongly, in my view] tend to associate with intelligence (talk fast, quick-witted, gets good grades, able to focus on a task very intensively, hard-working, etc.)

Real intelligence in my view requires logic and rationality of course, but it also requires creativity, open-mindedness, and imagination. In my experience, attractive people are reliably deficient in two or more of those attributes and/or are entirely missing at least one of them.

The halo effect presumes that they're smarter. They're not since no objective study & test has been done on them.

Also they are free to pursue studying since they know they can get a physiological need met at any time unless they're ugly like us in which they can't do.

I think the key here is inbreeding - inbreeding leads to subhumanism and loss of attractiveness, along with decreased IQ. There is probably not much correlation when inbreeding / outbreeding is taken into account, but some areas you really see people haven't bred with anyone more than 7 miles for generations.
