My dad has better stats than most curries his age, but he's acts like an uber-autist around other people, so I don't think he would've been able to ascend. He's also sub-5 facially, so that would've held him back as well.

nowadays here (wha...i think since good 25 years at least huh) even a normie pillpusher doc here would want to get a doc wife or at max a nurse wife; no matter how degen she would be in first place, all they want is someone from same profession as them just for "status"
and if they are docs with masters or surgeon or something higher in scale their "standards" of marriage also go high with aim to open a joint clinics and earn easy cream monies from it or just join those multispeciality private hospitals together and leech off ignorant patients
