Typing out a message is mental torture.​

In real life I could just say something retarded and get it over and done with, but communicating by text online means the words never die. It's only online that I can express myself to others, so I am forced to endure. The accumulated mistakes and misexpressions I cannot edit or delete haunt my mind. I get dragged into a tightening morass of self analysis where "rational" thoughts tear apart every word in search of every possible interpretation and consequence. Eventually communication becomes impossible. "Reason" has defeated me.
