Discussion Cities aren’t that chaotic

I feel like people confuse mega cities with a population of 1M+ and attribute all cities to be like mega cities.

Like the city jdnt really that chaotic even the downtown part of a standard city despite there being like a shit ton of people isn’t really that bad.

Idk I guess I live in a more comfy city but that chaotic feel of a city with 15 story apartment complexes, high crime, billboards with flashing lights is really only NYC, LA, Miami, Chicago, in the USA at least. Basically mainly megacities have this (1M+ residents)

the peace and quiet isn't worth how much it limits you socially imo, especially growing up.
But yeah it can be really nice.

I live in a megacity (in Asia) and it sucks, people stare at me all the time because I look like a lab experiment.
But I’m lucky that it has low crime rate, I wouldn’t last otherwise.

I’d say small city is less than 150K tbh. Anything below a million is probably a regular city and above that is a mega city
