I'm not a strict carnivore but I've been eating a diet very high in red meat for the past few months and my skin is the worst that it has ever been. My neck is super inflamed and I have blemishes on my chin, forehead and cheeks. It looks way worse than when I was eating things like chicken, pasta and vegetables.

I cannot eat meat without carbs. Need rice potato or pasta

@D. B. Gooner my skin was better when I was on a high carb diet :feelskek:

Introducing more red meat correlates with my skin getting worse
It's not introduction of foods that eliminates acne, it's the elimination of foods. And even if you ate only raw butter and raw meat, you would still need to detoxify the years of pollution your body has gone through. Not to mention other factors like stress and sun exposure.

That's true. It's hard to eat completely healthy nowadays, even the red meat that I buy is most likely grain fed slop.

In my experience the sun is more important for skin health than diet so wait for the summer and try to sunbathe. If you don't eat seed oils you should be able to sunbathe. Just stay in the sun until you stop feeling comfortable, then be in the shade until you feel that you can sunbathe again and repeat that until you tan.

Even now, even back in january, we would have a sunny day every now and again, so I'd just open my window so that the sun directly hit my room, and positioned myself in the sunshine butt naked and sunbathed. I have a minor tan.
