Gaming Brief Game Review #1: Super Mario 3D Land (3DS)

-Although I prefer old 2d games, this game really held my interest and was quite addicting.

- It did the best job at translating the spirit and charm of the 2D Mario games to a 3D format, compared to all the other 3D Mario games I have played.

-Crammed with a wide variety of intuitive platforming levels that keep you coming back for more, making it one of the best platformers of all time, if not the best.

Highly recommended

This game is horrible. As a kid it was the only 3DS game I had so I played it over and over again till it drove me insane. In most Mario games each level explores a unique gimmick or has some ability to differentiate itself from other levels. In this game there's only a few gimmicks regurgitated over and over again until it's a grind to even play through the levels. That's not even mentioning how generic and soulless the game is.
