I am by no means a big fan of Mario 64. I much prefer Sunshine and the Galaxy games. However, this video about Mario 64 is just so atrocious that I had to make a post about it.

He first has the nerve to state that fucking Mario Odyssey and Banjo Kazooie are better platformers, (GAMES THAT BARELY HAVE ANY CONSIDERABLE PLATFORMING) and then goes on to say that the controls are bad? Something I don't understand at all as someone who beat the original version only recently as well as a multitude of precision based romhacks in the past.
Lastly, he says THE BEST LEVELS IN MARIO 64, IE: THE BOWSER STATES AND TICKTOCK CLOCK ARE BADLY DESIGNED. His reasoning? Oh, they go against the core of the games design by being challenging aka ACTUAL PLATFORMING. How was this retard filtered by the first fucking Bowser stage? My god, someone should force him to play Crash Bandicoot. This is the kind of twat who thinks spamming collectibles everywhere and allowing you to collect them in any order, DUUUUURR, is good level design. I bet he hates the peak kino that is Mario Sunshine as well.


There's this entire genre of neo trannies making essays about how old Mario games are bad for being hard. if you get filtered by Mario 64 you should kill yourself. One of the easiest 3d platformers.

Exactly. Mario 64 has some of the tightest controls in any 3d platformer. There's a reason why precision platforming romhacks are so popular. You have to be legitimately retarded to get filtered by the first Bowser level in Mario 64.

Fr man, last year I beat that game with 120 stars, something I wanted to do since I was 10 (now 19), and dang you gotta be BAD if you can't pass the very first bowser level, personally I stalled at tick tock clock and that one miserable carpet level when I first played it. If you are a man and complain at the difficulty, you're a woman.

The controls were also so intuitive. It felt so natural back then to control him.

I have gotten all 120 stars as a kid on the N64 while visiting one of my cousins who owned one.

He was a total idiot and couldn't get a single fucking star.

I got them all and in the end he was even mad at me for beating the game for him. Jfl
