I actually think English uses too many idioms and metaphors. In the U.S. we have a huge political communication problem with people speaking metaphorically. "Strong women" is an especially annoying example. I don't know why smart people can't create a new language, and not that Esperanto shit. Some progress in linguistics must have been made in the last 120 years.

I used to think that because I thought that Asians had the type language script they do because of a greater genetic tendency for myopia, so their writing reflected that, but the study in the OP indicates it's culture that created the stereotype of the bottle-glasses, near blind Asian. My country has switched from a hard to learn alphabet (arabic) to latin alphabet, and literacy basically skyrocketed. Spoken language stayed almost the same. I didnt say "just switch to another language bro", you pulled that out of your ass.
