As a kid my parents didn't allow me to play any games I got invested in because I would get pissed off and that would be treated as the fault of the game for being too "hard/violent/addictive" rather than because of me having nothing else in my life. When I drink I am finally able to get the courage to talk about my problems and loneliness then I'm attacked for it and defend myself and the alcohol is blamed for my "outburst" rather than my cronic loneliness that torments me every second of my life, and due to my desperation for a foid my dad doesn't even think I should be allowed to have a girlfriend even if I could get one.
