I personnally think homosexual couples are less hypocritical in general than heterosexual couples. Indeed, both partner have the same mental configuration, and thus don't have to try to dissimulate themselves (or change their partner's mindset ) during dates and then everyday life.

Heterosexual couples are in constant conundrum to get along, while homosexual couples can allow themselves to be more direct and honest. Since their life/sex experience is more relatable to one another, a lot more things can be shared, which is a real advantage to establish sane long term relationships. Since they are literaly both attracted by the same kind of things, and they know what is attractive and what is not attractive through their own eyes by extension, things regarding relationships and sexual behaviors are clearer and more fullfiling in the long run.

The cliché of the ugly masculine lesbian is utter bs btw, all proven lesbians I know are above average precisely because they know how to sublime feminine attractiveness following their personnal instincts and good tastes. Actually, one of the first crush I ever had in my life appeared to be one (she was not pretending to be lesbian in order to avoid me, and I really appreciated her honesty and sympathy at that time tbh).

Since most lesbians I know are really nice and estimable individuals, I would rather have a "straight GF" with a "lesbian mindset", if that does make any sense lol.
