Re2r. I loved re3r and re4r too but they were less survival horror(amazing games regardless) especially 4 which was super actiony. I loved the evil within 1 as well which again was very actiony. Rn i am playing REmake which i find even more survival horror than re2r but the game sucks. The level design is cool but the fixed camera angles are cancer.

They all seem alike to me, to be honest. I'll never forget my friend saying that Resident Evil 0 was "hard."

Resident Evil 1 Remake. One of my favorite games of all time. The mansion is the most iconic place in RE in my opinion, the level design is awesome, and Iove the replayability of the game. Unlike other people I also enjoy fixed camera angles. Only thing I dislike is having to watch the door loading screens each time you go through a door.
Besides RE1R, I'd say I like the original RE1, RE2, RE3, RE4, and also RE7. Their respective remakes are good (except for RE3), but are all lacking something fromt the originals, like cutting important areas or drastically changing characters etc. RE1R, however, included everything it should from the original and then added more good stuff which made it a such a good remake as well.
Another horror game I like is Silent Hill 2. I know the gameplay is shit, but the atmosphere is top notch and soundtrack is perfect. It's not my favorite though because of the said gameplay.
