New York Man 'Grows' Six Inches Through Surgery

That is precisely the reason why Akash Shukla, 25, decided to undergo the procedure. At age 18, the New Jersey man was devastated to find out that his final height would be 4'11 ½.

"I felt like my short stature was kind of causing a void inside me- an emptiness in my heart, if you will," he said.

And not everyone was encouraging.

"There are people that have said, 'just accept what God gave you. But, in some way, shape or form everybody is trying to alter what god gave them. If God gave kids crooked teeth, they get braces,"

After the surgery, he's still only 5'2 so don't know if it was worth it for him. But if you're 5'4-5'6, definitely you can get mileage out of it. By the way, I'm at a public library low inhib posting on this site.

The funny thing is I've been turned down by women even though I am in better financial shape than most men. One women even turned me down for a guy over 6' tall who was in his second bankruptcy and was a high school drop out. Money doesn't guarantee success in the dating world.

Yeah, he should have just spent that money on hookers. He would've needed about an extra foot in height. If he was 5'5, then 6 inches in height would've done him well.

Yeah, he should have just spent that money on hookers. He would've needed about an extra foot in height. If he was 5'5, then 6 inches in height would've done him well.
