Serious You guys know anyone in your family, relatives, friends who've done gastric bypass (roux en y)?

If so, how are they doing after surgery? Can they eat enough and function in day to day life?

damn. I'm glad she can still eat because my issue is not with weight (I've normal weight and body fat). My issue is reflux. I've read that gastric bypass can permanently cure reflux.

I mean she did lose a lot of weight but she still looks bad

im scared of any type of surgery, in my mind every surgery is a major surgery unless i need it 100% or im dead then im not doing it, consider many opinions, more than 10 drs.
If they all advise for surgery then do it, if not then keep trying other treatments.

My life with reflux is hell. Its either surgery or death.
