Bfre 2 exact years, there might be a serious thing going on (or that already did) in their lives, and they're trying to recover from it.
After 2 yrs, its either 2 things: its a chronical issue and they'll be out of the work force permanently so, or they are deliberately choosing not to, consequences be damned.

The first thing i said was SHOULD. If a person has the pre aquired ability to not HAVE to work a single DAY of her life, yet DELIBERATELY chooses to do so, has MUCH MORE deep seated issues than her polar opposite.
Its like noticing almost everyone around you, except you and your closest friends family and inner circle, inherently smell bad AGAINST THEIR WILL, AND THAT WOULD DO ANYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO SMELL EVEN HALF AS GOOD AS YOU DO, THAN ONE DAY GETTING SOME SHIT OFF THE GROUND, SPRAYING YOURSELF WITH IT, CAUSE "YOU WANTED TO KNOW HOW IT FEELS LIKE" OR SUM DERANGED SHIT LIKE THAT.
