There was a thread asking who everyone's favorite 2026cel was. I was mentioned by one member only. I could not believe that nobody had me in mind after hundreds of posts and interactions. Even on a forum like this, I am left behind and pushed aside. Brutal reality.

It might be my profile name. People bring up Kurt Cobain's views. Say anything bad about him, at least he was a genuine artist who unfortunately grew up to endorse the leftist agenda, but out of a real interest in equality and change, not simply for the media brainwashing him.

I am never good enough to people in the real world. I am not tall enough, not attractive enough, not muscular enough, not smart enough, not cool enough, and sometimes not even White enough. I coped my way here by listening to Nirvana and it really grew on me, and I will be forever grateful for their music, so don't hate on me for liking what soothed my pain in this miserable world.

Forums are a minor bane in an ND's existence, because while it doesn't get as brutal as face to face communication, social skills are still selected for in this format. Only something like a Discord group will give you the environment you yearn for, and still, the best adjusted person will keep his advantage over you.

I've grown so accustomed to forums that I genuinely can't bear to use Discord for any longer than an hour at most. It's awfully mentally draining and leaves me feeling weary by the end of it—as if my brain were literally rotting away. It made me realize that, as much as TikTok is at fault for butchering the attention spans of zoomers, there's no way apps like Discord weren't contributing to that beforehand.

Speaking of which, there's an aspect of zoomerspeak that drives me absolutely mad, and I only recalled to mention anything of it whilst writing this reply. Discord is already bad enough in that nearly everyone decides that the ideal manner in which to send messages is to have them separated based on clauses rather than whole sentences—but some people take it even FURTHER and start sending messages every two words or so.

They do it because the type as if they're saying it out loud, typing it out in seperate messages implies a short pause between the words. But it's super cringe because nobody talks like that in real life, maybe in movies or comics or something. Further proving they all think they're the main character,

I looked into it after having heard of Nirvana's ban, and I found out that this guy used to be notorious for repeatedly and incessantly spamming racebait, pictures of scat, and would start stirring up shit (metaphorical and literal) for no reason. He was warned over and over again and eventually bit the dust when the mods had enough of him once he started spamming Sewers even further.
