Another "profound" quote that I hate. Almost every single person is physically capable of violence, unless you're a fucking quadurple amputee.
Life is more complicated than this, this isn't some DBZ anime where people have individual power levels and engage in violence based on those - there are group preferences which dictate who can get away with what. Some stronger man can beat me up and he probably won't face consequences because that's socially acceptable violence. I could stab him in defence instead and I would go to jail because that's not socially acceptable violence, my life would be ruined.
We often engage in violence based on what we can get away with, rendering this quote retarded.
It gets into funny logic too - so if I'm not peaceful because I'm not "capable" of violence, should I then become violent on purpose to be peaceful?

It's also meant to shame you for being less violent. Insectoids can't fanthom that you may genuinely dislike conflict and strife, that it brings you discomfort. There were many situations where I could fuck someone over if I wanted to, but I had that pang of guilt "I don't feel like giving someone shit, maybe I'll just let it go and they'll let it go too".
