I have a hard time faulting people for NEETing when the very society they live in doesn't offer them decent opportunities. The days of fair wages are over. And how much you get paid has absolutely nothing to do with how competent you are at your job. It's just a matter of getting people to like you. I literally got a job through a friend and was living pretty comfortably for a while. I do not have much choice. My mother died years ago and my father is in a nursing home for Alzheimer's. It is either work, or be homeless and it gets very cold where I live during winter.

I lost a lot of weight back when I used to climb ladders stocking shelves at Toys R Us and I got to see a bunch of cool action figures and always knew when the sales were on.
