Fellows can medicate if they're feeling hopeless too (which, unlike women, they do), but they will have to worry about getting erectile dysfunction potentially, and lots of fellows would rather be miserable than impotent. Women don't even need their sex drives per se, not for dignity, not for pleasure most of the time other than with chad, not for nothing. If you're bad off mentally as a man, you have to either be expected to bear it alone, or chemically castrate yourself, or rope it's your choice but none of them are pretty.
