Serious Would you rather fight in the pacific or Europe in WW2

Let’s just say your an America recruit and it’s 1944 and you get asked what front you want to fight on

Would you choose the pacific or Europe?

personally I would choose the pacific because the Nazis were the good guys and I wouldn’t want to fight them. but if was an actual American recruit during ww2 I’d probably choose Europe because I’d probably believe in what the propaganda on the radio says, plus Europe would be more honorable then some shitty island in the middle of the ocean.

Island hopping was some of the most grueling forms of warfare and by the time the US was involved in the ground war in Western Europe it was already game over for the good guys, so I'd pick Western Europe

Europe. My great grandfather fought in the Pacific, and according to my grandpa, he thought the Japanese were the cruelest and most barbaric people he had ever encountered, so much so that he kept hating them even after the war. I think that says enough about what he experienced.
