Discussion Would things be different if men were raised to enhance their looks (makeup/surgery/clothing) the way women are?

Something i was ruminating on throughout the day. Imagine a world where there was no stigma associated with men using makeup or getting cosmetic surgery, hair implants, etc. In this world, both sexes are encouraged to use makeup and spend extra time on their appearance. The norm would be to use makeup and not using it would be abnormal, same as it is for women. We would have been taught by our dads to use facial treatments daily, wash our hair on the proper schedules, how to apply foundation and concealer etc. They would have taken us through the process of making sure we knew what clothes set the best impression, brands, etc. Just as foids get breast implants to increase their worth, we would be encouraged to get penis, leg, jaw implants as well. In a way, this hypothetical universe is more or less black pilled. Does anything change for us?

men make the world go forward, so us instead becoming useless like women would be detrimental

Massive fucking cope. No makeup or clothes for your genetics

hmm i wasnt really thinking of us switching roles or behaviors with them, more so adding on to what we do and what we are taught. we are still men just men who are more able to better our looks

its a hypothetical. im not giving advice or arguing this would fix me or anyone. its a thought exercise.

it probably wouldn't change much since females are naturally picky anyways + Chads and Chad lites would also be boosting their looks, making the standards of foids even higher.

Even hypothetically, foids would still chose the males with the best genetics. Foids will easily just find the new top 10%

Yes. Make-Up heavily enhances your features. In society, a man that wears make-up is "gay", but in reality, it would enhance your looks a lot.

It would be less ugly males.

Men are supposed to be the strong from birth, thus putting effort towards looking better is seen as pathetic by most women anyways
Thats why looksmaxxers say if you looksmaxx, dont tell anyone, act like your features are innate
If we were to imagine a society where men put as much effort into looks as women do on average, well men wouldnt be men anymore, at least by current definition and expectations

understood. point taken

this was what i was thinking. looking at it more holistically, if from birth you were encouraged to max your looks because they matter a lot, its reasonable to say you would be closer to full potential, all genetic weaknesses withheld

men putting more effort into their looks would not be enough to pervert the current definition of men.
1. actors and tv personalities wear makeup. they are still men
2. in this world, these acts are normalized, so there is no stigma

If every male started using make-up, then every male would get the same boost which means that you'll remain the bottom x% that you were before.

Things would be slightly harder since everyone would be looksmaxxing

It was already done before. Balding was hidden with wigs, bad skin painted over with makeup. Bad figures covered by fancy clothing. Too bad the French Revolution happened :cryfeels: :cryfeels:

yes

however, it would be worse

assuming that everything remains the same(except for men using makeup or whatever OP is implying), that would mean that biological urges remain the same

thus, women would have higher standards, as a result, hypergamy would actually be a lot worse as than before

in addition it is a win-lose situation for incels, it will boost incel SMV, but will also boost Chadlites', Chads' and Gigachads' SMV as well, thus womens standards will be skyrocketing(underestimating, ik) from here as either it would mean they only go for the top 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 % or they only want natural Chad and not makeupmaxxed/fashionmaxxed incels or normies

this is also why fashionmaxxing is BS, I have had many normie friends tell me to fashionmaxx, but I do not because I know it makes no major difference towards my SMV

We would probably be encouraged to do cope style looksmaxxing instead of surgical salvation because it's hard to tell children they have no future because of their bones. If facial surgery wasn't covered by insurance, the riots to make them covered by insurance would have happened in the early 2000's when we were all playing PokeMon Gold and Silver.
