Because it's currently more socially acceptable to be uncomfortable with your gender than your looks.

Most eye opening experience of my life was being detained for a week and being watched 24/7 because i wanted jaw surgery after wearing retractive headgear and having 8 teeth extracted. I hate all psychologists/psychiatrist's and i hate my parents for standing by and letting it happen. There's no turning back once you've realized you've been treated as a second class citizen your entire life. Parents are kicking me out this week, i'm gonna have to rot in a $300 pos car with no money no internet no friends no chance of being employed no nothing.
