I don't think the Ukraine army is going to collapse soon. But since Russia is so much larger the Russians can keep adding soldiers. And the Russians can add soldiers along the frontlines and add more frontlines to spread the Ukraine army out. There will be places where the Russian army has a big advantage along the front, and those places are where the Russians can be advancing. Every area that Russia takes over is people and industry that Ukraine no longer has, and Russia then has.


At minimum the Western countries will have to find some way to increase the size of the Ukraine army to generally keep up with the growing Russian army.

Look at the election results in Germany, Brexit in UK, election results in France, Italy, Holland. Europe is moving to the right in protest.

What bothers me about this war is that the West did not destroy Russias airforce at the start of the war had they did that and only gave Ukraine air superiority without boots in the ground Russia would have made way less progress

So far the mercenaries haven't been working that well. The war is too dangerous for mercenaries.

I think the West European governments should pay soldiers high enough wages that its worth it for people, whatever the market determines. That is what Russia is doing. Last I checked Russia is paying army soldiers ten times the salaries that regular people in regualar jobs in Russia make.

But knowing West Europeans and British they will never do that as they are so into their class societies. So they will have to do conscription. Which will take press gangs and severe punishments for resistors.

One thing that makes the war interesting is no one really knows where it is going or what the countries will do. I th ought the Polish and Romanians would be the next sent, but that seems not to be the plan.

I think a very big factor in the war is China is backing Russia, imo they won't let Russia go down, at least not without hugely backing Russia with money and technology if necessary.

On the other side how far is China willing to back Russia pushing into Europe. I am not sure, I think the war is heading back for Europe to go back the old Cold War lines. I think at some point Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Slovakia will flip to the Russian side.
