I've never understood it since ND is much shorter to type out and conveys neurodivergence more clearly.

So much of incel/blackpill slang was borne out of the desire to distance ourselves from normies.
yet those normies appropriated it in turn, how ironic.

I don't think people put much thought into what they type, they'll just use whatever term they hear the most.
