Why are MGTOWers so materialistic?

A guy shows some cash and look at the upvotes.I hardly believe they have the self restraint to go their own way.Browsing through r/mgtow doesn't make me want to go monk mode or whatever they call.It makes me really depressed to think one day I have to become like them.I am thinking of getting a surrogate mother.Life without offspring and family seems pretty meaningless,that's what mgtow taught me.
