ADHD perhaps has some physical basis, as it relates to lower levels of dopamine in the brain. Nicotine gum is free of carcinogens and dangerous compounds that tobacco is known for but will still improve your dopamine levels. Doctors are actually seriously considering it as a possible treatment for ADHD. Consider giving it a try. The evidence does not lie, however, that high functioning autism is most likely just a differently (but perfectly changeable) way of thinking. It is a condition said to be more serious than ADHD even at its mildest and yet the brains of those with it are in no way different from those without it. You've been gaslit.@IngsocSimp my doctor said that autism can give you ADHD symptoms, i also believe that i have ADHD symptoms because i was never able to concentrate in class (the thinking part of people with ADHD never shuts down to do complex tasks like learning or doing other things), i just believe that you are wrong in believing that this is not a mental disorder and just a trauma
But note that, whatever the doctors label your thought process, they will never know you better than yourself if you care enough to find out. Any time you think or do something, ask yourself your reasoning for it, and don't be afraid and hide it away, but acknowledge the truth, no matter how ugly or unpleasant it is, and then find out what you can do to work around it or fix it.
