A mirror is more accurate. All it does is flip your image, which looks weird to you because you are seeing yourself flipped, but it doesn't really change what you look like beyond that and once you get used to both your unflipped and flipped image it doesn't make much difference. Cameras apply several layers more distortion to your image. This does depend on the quality of the camera, for example phone cameras make people look much worse because they have terrible focal lengths which make you extremely distorted. Not only that but they often have shit contrast and colour ranges which can make skin condition and tone look much worse.
