It's BS stats. Take pretty much all accomplishments from Austro-Hungary (You can leave out actual ethnic hungarians obviously) and probably a couple from supposed poles (Like Kopernikus for example, who were obviously German) and add them to the German ones because they simple were and are Germans. Besides that the measurements of who accomplished and invented what are up for a lot of interpretation anyways.
That's specifically why i pointed out Germany historically and not in it's foreign dictated borders. It's all about ethnic group anyways and not about statehood whatsoever. No somali in the netherlands is gonna be the next Brahms or Van Gogh.
