Headcovering is taken to the extreme and women can't even show their (whole) faces

Husbands were allowed to beat their wives to the grave

Confinement to the extreme - Women are not even allowed to leave their rooms

Ancient Greece is the best overall, but a truly great patriarchy would encompass traits from all of these - especially African (ceremonial beating of the wife at the wedding), Chinese (blinding and circumcision are essential), and Roman (the husband/father literally owns his femoid, legally and morally).
