I got rid of my gaystation long ago. But wish to play games like the original fallout, Quake, etc. but unsure what to get and I know nothing of building computers, any recommendations? Money is not an issue I just need something worth getting

If money really isnt an issue just get a decent prebuilt not a shitty one from amazon (they are always awful price to preformance) but an actual one from a builder most of the time prebuilds wont really go less than 500 for new and most pcs that price are overkill for games like original fallout but i would say your best bet for a pc that wont be overkill is to looked for used pcs on ebay

Interesting

Building computers is easier than lego.

For just playing old pc games, steamdeck. Its cheap, doesnt take much space or power.

From what i hear its about an rtx 3060 level system i might be wrong but if thats true it will run all of them 60 fps+ pretty easilly

Its the best way to play 3 and nv because it has specific fixes to make them actually work lmao, better than windows.

1 and 2 should work because of the trackpads, but i would hook up a mkb for an old crpg

The 90 hz oled runs them at 90 fps,but its more around the power of a 1050.

I heard it has the mod where you can play both at once, tale of two wastelands? Last time I played fallout was on my Xbox 360 wayy back

Yea you can mod them

What games do you play the most on it
Ive been playing fallout 4, beat elden ring, dead space remake, resident evil 4 remake. If you have to play at 60 fps+ you will be more limited, around ps4 era.

But you were on 360 so should be fine that had plenty sub 30 lol

That’s fine with me, can you play Rdr2? I don’t like really modern games tbh

I havent tried it but it seems people play it. Steamdeck is a pc so for some games you are going to need to play with settings, especially a heavier game like rdr2.

Fucking hell, every steam deck is sold out on the official website

They are in stock on amazon, cad prices are bad tho maybe us version is better
I will look, I don’t mind paying more bcuz if I ever resell I could probably make back more if the ram shit gets too cooked

I also recommend steam deck. Been playing both fallout 3 and New Vegas on the deck.

Runs great and I’ve been using mine to emulate older consoles from NES up to Xbox 360.
