What in the Hell causes wide hips in men? Is it genetics, plastics and artificial substances consumed in foods and drinks, disorder, etc.?

I fucking hate and demonically abhor my hips. Seriously, even with my shoulders enlarged by working out, my hips just stick out very unusually. It fucking sucks. If there exists a god, I hate him very fucking much.

I don't know. I have wide hips. I think it's androgen insensitivity. I look pretty much exactly like the guy in the wikipedia article for mild androgen insensitivity.

Over for me, even in baggy pants my ass/hips look big and i hate it

Basically, I think it has to do with low testosterone A LOT more than high estrogen. In fact, I'd say testosterone is the main sexually dimorphising hormone and that the estrogens (E1 and E2) don't really do shit besides grow boobs and stunt bone growth. Cause men and women actually produce around the same level of estrogen (the male range actually falls in the female range) because the ovaries don't really make that much and it's mainly from the adrenal glands.

I see. ‘Cause I don’t have any breasts or women’s chest; I’m 100% free of chest hair but due to Native American genetics.

I don’t know if that’s what causes wide hips though.

I wonder if this is an option. This is a surgery performed for a patient with bone cancer.

Some men have Klinefelter's.

Testosterone makes hips "narrow" by basically keeping them the same width during your puberty. Not that it stunts pelvic growth, that's impossible and contrary to the anabolic nature of test. Instead, it keeps the hips the same width by making the pelvis grow tall instead of wide. So, when you don't have much T going through puberty, growth hormone (or Igf-1) goes to your pelvis (and without T to signal pelvic growth upward) your pelvis grows outward. However, because you don't have lady estrogen levels, the outward growth is mainly concentrated to the legs (because the pelvic inlet won't widen much with a lot of E2), making the greater trochanter go out more, thus giving wide hips.

Do you know if there’s any possible way to reverse wide hips in men? If anything is possible, by any chance?

Not going to lie to you. It bothers the hell outta me every single day of my god damn life. FUCK, I drink just to forget about it for a night. Always have to wear long sleeve shirts. Always have to tuck them in. I've researched the hell out of this topic. This is what I have so far for solutions:

1. Make shoulders wider. Clavicle extension is only 22mm per each clavicle. BUT, as long as your body can handle it, you can do the surgery multiple times.
2. Make upper hips smaller (probably won't help because the pathology of large hips in men makes the lower hip bigger and not the upper due to lack of high estodiol). Dr. Epply in Indiana has a procedure called "illiac crest reduction" that's pretty harmless. In fact, if you horrifically break your bones anywhere else, reconstructive surgeons will probably take bone from the illiac crest for a bone graft
3. Hypertrophy shoulder and back muscles (for me I can't do this due to my fucked AR)
4. (Controversial) Hip Narrowing surgery does exist but it isn't cosmetic, it's recostructive. Look up (pelvic osteotomies/ hip replacement / femoral head osteotomy/ femoral neck reshaping). Basically you'd have to hurt yourself really badly and in the right spots

Genetic heritage. Some ancestor reproduced with some one with a wide hip and now you have it.
Do you work your lower members out ? You could legmaxx to try to hide this physical trait.

What is legmaxx? The thing is, while my hipbone isn’t too wide, the femur sticks out a little too much in comparison with my hipbone.

It's possible. It's totally possible. In biology, it's always easier to make something smaller rather than bigger. It's just that surgeons don't care enough about hipcels and mentally ill trans ""men"" to make a cosmetic (rather than reconstructive) hip-narrowing surgery.

I think you’re referring to the hipbone, not to the femur, which is what actually causing wide hips.

That’s probably one of the only good sides to the transgender female to male freaks. lol. They might push enough to eventually convince surgeons to seek any possible methods to narrow hips. But who knows if that’s even possible.

Same I can totally relate.

If I ever have male children, I’ll be aware if they inherited my wide hip genes. Maybe something can be done before they end up with hips like mine. lol idk if that’s possible

I actually like wearing traditional clothes, like those from Historical Emporium website, and they have great tucked in clothes. I also use so much tucked in shirts

Does it hurt somehow or it is just a visual thing ?

I'm not sure what causes it, but I have wide hips and narrow shoulders. I hate how unmasculine my frame looks.

But who knows if that’s even possible
I see you still don't believe me that these surgeries exist. That's fair. Here's some proof:

1718351980479
1718352072761

-This increases the angle of inclination of the femur, making the greater trochanter stick out less. Making the hips smaller.
1718352297781

-This is a hip replacement. Using this, you could theoretically make the femoral neck as short as possible, making the trochanter stick out less, making the hips smaller. You could also make the angle of inclination anything you want, increasing it like the picture above.

1718352469609

-This is a Chiari osteotomy. As you can see it artificially makes the acetabulum (the socket for the femur) deeper by cutting the plevis and sliding the bottom cut into the pelvic inlet. Making the hips smaller.

Oh. I see. I didn’t know about femur surgery.

I imagine this is only allowed to patients with severe problems.

Fuck, and don't I know it pal. I seen some pictures of my great grandfather. He's a wrist and hipcel like me. Difference is, he lived in the 1940s and 50s where all he had to do is make it back from ww2 (as an electrician on a boat) and that impressed my great grandma enough to let him drop some loads in her cunt. And three generations later, here I am.

Yeah, but there's little risk of complications with any of these surgeries and they're totally possible with a healthy patient.

Which surgery do you think seems most logical to get to narrow one’s hips?

Likely femoral neck reshaping in combination with iliac crest reduction.

Inbreeding as well.

Over for me, even in baggy pants my ass/hips look big and i hate it
Wouldn't baggy pants make it worse?? My hips are around normal size proportionally and even when I wear baggy pants it makes my hips look wider but when I wear better fitting pants It looks alot better

Do you know if anything can be done? Maybe deleting the body of any hormones?
Even if that was possible I doubt It would change anything since you are already fully developed past 18

Brutal so not only did the hips give you brutal proportions but they also made you shorter then you could have been

Yes. That’s what I’m actually figuring out just recently

It looks bad in all kinds of pants, whether baggy, regular fit or skinny

There is probably some sort of fit that lessons it slightly compared to baggy fit but it will always be noticeable
Its just about finding the right fit to not make it look worse

Like for me since im a framelet tight fitting shirts make me look even smaller then if I find shirts that fit me well but are slightly loose

From what i read women like guys with big asses/wide hipes as they imply more thrusting power during sex. Unfortunately there is no big ass for my height or my Aspergers

They only like it if you have an equally wide frame so it looks masculine and proportional
If you dont have that it just looks feminine

Arent you 5’7 on top of having wide hips??
Im around that height too but I wouldnt even be able to cope if I had wide hips its fucking brutal
