Seriously I tried watching Urusei Yatsura (2022) and after watching 9 episodes I'm going to drop it because this shit is boring, unfunny and uninteresting as fuck. I literally can't watch it for more than 2 minutes without pausing it to check my phone because it's insufferable, the "comedy" moments are terrible and the characters are all sterotypes without any development. But I dunno what I expected from moe anime, I never liked this genre anyways. Tried watching Little Witch Academia, dropped it after 3 episodes. Super Sonico I lasted 2 episodes. Sakurasou 1 episode before determining it was garbage kek. Sakura Trick I watched that whole thing in 2014 because I was stubborn and hated it. Nagatoro was more insufferable weeaboo trash and like an idiot I watched the whole thing thinking it would get better. I always think "this time it's going to be different, there must be a reason why it's so popular" but then I'm disappointed again by moeshit anime.
Why is moe so popular and why does it seem the majority of weebcels love it? If you just care about waifus watch ecchii which has tiddies and panty shots and no kidding I had a much better experience with ecchii anime (To Love Ru, Monster Musume, etc.) than moe, the characters were more charming and the comedy was better. But tbh almost every anime nowadays has waifus, you don't have to watch shitty moe for that. I imagine the average moe enjoyer as the stereotypical fat neckbeard weeb, chugging Monster Energy and stuffing his gullet with Doritos and Takis, binge watching moe anime on his gaming monitor while snorting like a pig every time the female character does something "kawaii" or funny kek.
