Weakness of Man City I noticed (few joggers)

If you look at Real Madrid they have a few hero players, Courtois, Benzema, Modric. Then the rest they mainly have these super strong and fast joggers.

Man City has all these very talented players who are not joggers. Like great dribbling, good shots and brilliant passes and positioning. But towards the end of both games they were not able to remotely keep up with the joggers. By going all out as hard as they could in the first 3/4's of each game they could physically match Real Madrid, and out class them in talent.

But it was that last 1/4 of each game where the joggers were still going full strength and speed, and Man City was gassed.

To OP: I'm not an expert, but I think City lost at least partly because they got too defensive in terms of players on the field near the end of regulation. I mean Guardiola probably shouldn't have pulled De Bruyne, a creative playmaker. This is why they had nearly zero chances to score in extra time.
