I was thinking of this today because of a ramzpaul video I saw recently on his substack. It's behind a paywall but... I'll provide the link anyways :)

Anywho, as I recall he says in that video that there is good evidence that rock was killed intentionally and that white men are being selected against when it comes to getting signed and getting good promotion.

I guess it's possible. It would explain why rock bands fell off a cliff because apparently they were super common up until about the '90s and then suddenly their popularity plummeted.

Nah it just exhausted itself to unoriginality

it's just got that sterile radio friendly sound since 2000s

the jews or something

I feel like they seem to select against white guys everywhere else so this would make sense.

A large part of it might be that it is more difficult to create as band members have to purchase and become skilled with their instruments. People who are starting out might not have much money or time, so it is probably easier to get some recording software and presampled material and make "music" that does not require money or time invested in it.

I'm leaning on yes with this one.

After the nu-metal scene in the early-mid 2000s, it all just died off quickly. The only thing I heard after a period of time is shitty rap and pop music. The fact that it just died like that is interesting.

I hate how there's a small minority of my generation who is into rock music, and most of my Zoomer peers only like rap and pop slop. It shows how degenerate everything is becoming.

The new Smashing Pumpkins album that just came out a month or two ago is great. It's probably their best album.

Unfortunately new rock music like that is so rare now. It's really sad. iPhones and social media has replaced music, movies, and television.

Society is entering some sort of cultural dark age.

It’s clearly noticeable that jewish record companies subverted rock and alternative for the chimp screaming called rap. Rock and alternative culture was still popular till the 2010’s with scene kids but the goth, metal and punk kids were always also prevalent.
