I myself am manic-depressive and I can tell you there is no drug that can induce prologued stability, I can’t imagine how much less effective pharmaceuticals were back then. It is usually not brought on by external factors which is why I doubt it had much to do with his looks. Is there any hard evidence of Churchill expressing bitterness about his height or lack of attractiveness?

Also, I have noticed there seems to be a running theme with incels rising to positions of power after the point in history where military technology reached a level that rendered physical strength obselete in battle, Napoleon possibly being one of the first.
