The losses so far are heavy duty, maybe 200,000 Ukrainians dead (as well as 200,000 Russians). Its probably about 5% of the Ukrainians males between 20-40 have been killed in the war.

I'm not sure on the losses in honesty. But to look at Ukraine, they do seem to have trouble getting enough soldiers. Since they have around 3.6 million men between 20-40 and they also are using men 40-60. And another 150,000 turning 20 every year.. then why does it seem they are having trouble getting enough soldiers if the losses are low.

Russia I am not sure as its all propaganda. But one thing I saw was even in some small villages there are cemeteries with fresh war dead in them.

they have troubles with mobilisation cause every man knows if you get mobilized it's over for you, at best you will become disabled person for life. Everyone tries to ditch mobilisation by any means possible, same in Russia.

" because government mostly mobilize men from villages and provinces cause if you mobilize most men from major cities it will drag attention, it will have a negative impact on the government's image, but yeah there is plenty of new graves even in my small town which indicates there is way more casualties compared to Chechen wars or war in Afghanistan. Also, men in villages and province regions are broke, they go to war just to earn some money.
