I just facetimed my Uncle who's a retired dentist to give my teeth a look. Apparently lots of dentists hype up gingivitis to book unnecessary deep cleans that can cost thousands. He examined my teeth and said although there's minor recession, it can be solved with better flossing, rinsing, and the dentist who booked me deep cleans was scamming me for extra money.

I APOLOGIZE TO THIS FORUM AND GOD FOR SAYING I DON'T CARE ABOUT MY HEALTH. When you actually feel like you lost your health you release how important it is. I was saying in earlier threads i didn't give a shit if I had cancer, I take that back. I do.

Turns out gum disease isn't a big deal anyway, but when she said "gum disease" I thought that was the same as gum cancer and I basically thought my life was over, I thought it was going to be chemo or some shit or death.

Interesting cuz literally about a minute ago I was removing tartar with my dental pic (which i only do bout every 6 months)

surprisingly had very little this time

Yeah she explained that some calcium and shit built up.

Happy for you bro, stay healthy:feelsautistic:

That's good to hear.

I have noticed that dentists are some of the biggest grifters in the medical world. They operate in a gray area where they can label minor inflammation as a "chronic condition" to meet their monthly quotas.

And that's exactly what it was, she fucked around with my gums and said they swelled up, and then said i need to pay another $1000 to prevent it from rotting my bones.

According to my dentist uncle, I'm fine and should just take better care of my teeth and stop vaping and i'll be good.
